Oualid joined Optimized Gas Treating, Inc (OGT) as a Software Development Engineer in April 2025. He earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Montpellier II (France), with experimental and modeling research on polymeric membrane elaboration. From 2015 he spent 10 years as an oil and gas researcher at the University of Texas at Austin, where he focused his research on the upstream and midstream sectors, working on EOR, wax deposition during oil transportation, and asphalt quality control.
