John started at OGT as an intern in October 2020 while on loan from the United States Air Force. He graduated with honors from the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center, Presidio of Monterrey and has full professional fluency in Hebrew. He graduated with honors from the James M. McCoy Airman Leadership School and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in January 2021. John graduated summa cum laude (GPA 4.0) in Chemical Engineering from Texas Technical University. From August 2026 he will be on leave while pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame.
