CESAR-1

CESAR-1 is a relatively new solvent proposal for carbon capture consisting of a mixture of AMP and piperazine in the proportions of 2:1.  This corresponds to a higher piperazine concentration than is used for ep CO₂ removal in LNG and ammonia production, for example, but considerably lower than proposed for high strength piperazine for use in carbon capture.  You can find more information here on CESAR-1 solvent.
